Tyler Atkinson was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is a top-recruited, five-star defensive prospect for the class of 2026, and known for his unique athleticism and physical toughness. Tyler prides himself in his work ethic and having a “never out-worked” mindset, as well as inspiring other young athletes to achieve their own athletic goals. “It is my mission to inspire other young athletes by sharing my journey, chasing my dreams, and leading by example to show how dedication and a strong focus on your craft can open up some incredible doors.”
Tyler was drawn to the sport of football from a young age, and first started playing when he was in middle school. He participated in the UA (Under Armor) Next All-America Game and was named the 2020 FBU National MVP. In 2021, Tyler became the first-ever 8th grader to earn an invite to the All-American Bowl. Tyler is currently entering his Junior year at Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, where he earned recognition as a MaxPreps Freshman All-American in 2022 with 112 total tackles (22 TFL), 24 QBH, 8 sacks and 4 PBU, and also participated in the FBU All-American Bowl.
When not training for football, Tyler enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and teammates, coaching youth players, and creating content for his own “AtknUP” brand.
