Live Your Game Spotlight: Pac Prime Wolves

Fort Worth, TX - As soon as you start talking with Coach Kenneth Mann about the Pac Prime youth football organization, you can feel the passion he has for his young athletes and their community. As they enter their fourth season in the Fort Worth, Texas area, Coach Mann discusses the importance of this program for instilling the right mindset in young men and their families.

“When you’re in the inner-city, dealing with youth in this situation, a lot of times they don’t have the proper direction…something positive and consistent in their life to give them something to look forward to. We wanted to come to together with all these coaches, all these fathers, all these husbands and be able to reach out and do more and be more effective in the community.”

It’s this passion for the game of football and for the youth he supports that has driven the Pac Prime org to such achievements in their first few years. The Wolves team is coming off an appearance in the National Youth Football championships — something they are looking to repeat and build upon this year as they look to unseat the 3-time reigning champs. Coach Mann keeps the team focused, engaged, and inspired by bringing in others from the community who have achieved success on and off the field, whether it’s former college or NFL athletes or close-knit family members to talk about what it means to train and live with purpose to achieve your goals.

“We’re always bringing in someone from the community to come talk to the players, people who have been through it before, guys that have a story.”

When we spoke with Coach Mann, he gives off such a positive, high-energy vibe about the team. In contrast, star running Jeremiah Johnson is quite and calm, all business, deflecting the accolades in favor of a team-first approach to winning games. He embodies the team’s tactical approach, the ethos behind their nickname, Seal Team 6 — “We try to get in, get out, complete the mission.”

As they prepare to kickoff their fourth season, Team Xenith wishes the whole Pac Prime organization success on and off the field, and we’re looking forward to seeing them build on their success last year and hopefully bringing home a national youth championship.
