HELMET SIZING GUIDE

A properly fitted helmet is critical to player protection and is essential to the use of all protective equipment. Football helmets must be properly fitted and maintained to effectively protect the player. Follow along to ensure your Xenith helmet fits correctly: Measurements for helmet size should be taken 1" inch above the eyebrow around the circumference of the head.

Not what i expected

I chose to buy the Xenith Shadow Xr when I couldn't find anywhere to buy a speed flex, and the reviews are great so I thought the helmet would be great. the chinstrap is horrible and hurts to wear so I switched it out for a different one, but I can never get it to fit just right. The helmet doesn't air up, so you are stuck with how it fits. I bought a different style of Xenith facemask for it, and it is loose and rattles around. I've heard that the Shadow Xr is a super safe helmet, but it doesn't seem that way to me. Many times, throughout my last season I was hit and every strap on my chinstrap came undone. And maybe I was just trying to tackle the next derrick henry, but my head hurt after almost every hit. I love the Xenith apparel and the Xenith Velocity 2 is amazing, but the Shadow Xr is not it for me. I should have waited and bought a speed flex.
