Not what i expected

I chose to buy the Xenith Shadow Xr when I couldn't find anywhere to buy a speed flex, and the reviews are great so I thought the helmet would be great. the chinstrap is horrible and hurts to wear so I switched it out for a different one, but I can never get it to fit just right. The helmet doesn't air up, so you are stuck with how it fits. I bought a different style of Xenith facemask for it, and it is loose and rattles around. I've heard that the Shadow Xr is a super safe helmet, but it doesn't seem that way to me. Many times, throughout my last season I was hit and every strap on my chinstrap came undone. And maybe I was just trying to tackle the next derrick henry, but my head hurt after almost every hit. I love the Xenith apparel and the Xenith Velocity 2 is amazing, but the Shadow Xr is not it for me. I should have waited and bought a speed flex.
