Quavo is 1/3 of the Grammy-nominated, Billboard chart-topping rap group Migos. Quavo was a standout basketball and football player at Berkmar high school in Gwinnett County, Georgia. He is regularly in attendance at big games from the Super Bowl to the college football playoffs and periodically appears on College Gameday, specifically when his Georgia Bulldogs are involved. Quavo previously founded an AAU basketball organization, Team Huncho, that brings coaches, parents, and athletes together to guide athletes toward the grades, work ethic, and skills they need to receive a college scholarship.
The leader and head coach of the national teams for Huncho Elite 7v7 is Maurice “Parlae” Gleaton. Coach Parlae is a legend in his own right as a member of Dem Franchise Boyz and the coach of Peachtree Elite for the last 7 years. Parlae has “had his moment in the spotlight” and is “totally focused on developing his athletes.” He believes in the Xenith product and thought highly of Xenith prior to being approached with this partnership.
Xenith will provide the Huncho Elite 7v7 Program with customized team uniforms and LOOP non-tackle headgear to wear during the 2022 7v7 competition season. This fall, high school football athletes excelling on the field will also be recognized by Quavo as part of the "Quavo's All-Stars" team. Quavo's All-Stars will all receive a Xenith Shadow XR helmet and recognition on Xenith's website and social accounts.
This is an exciting opportunity for Xenith to grow its brand and presence in the 7v7 space by partnering with top coaches, players, and football advocates. We look forward to continuing to grow this partnership with Quavo, Parlae, and the Huncho Elite 7v7 Program, and wish the team good health and success on the field this spring.
